Philosophy

Our program is built around the concept that children are born ready to learn. As caregivers, we strive to create a learning environment that is safe, stimulating and encouraging.

The following serve as the foundation for our curriculum. Children develop knowledge of their world through active interactions with caregivers, peers, materials, and events. Learning is sequential, building on prior understandings and experiences.

Philosophy and Goals

Here at Lilly’s Learning Pad- Jackson Ward Campus. our philosophy is when children are provided with a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate atmosphere that encourages learning through play, discovery and exploration they will reach their full potential. Knowing that all children learn in different ways, their natural curiosity and love of learning is fostered with activities and opportunities that will help build a strong foundation for their future. Teachers base their class curriculum off of the interests of the children as well as what the children need to know and experience at all ages. Every staff member is required to maintain and uphold this philosophy.

Lilly’s Learning Pad has everything a parent needs, it has a safe/kid friendly environment, dedicated teachers who treat the kids as their own, very clean and spacious, and very welcoming. The kids are giving equal opportunity to learn, grow and become independent learners. Not only does your child learn academics they are also exposed to building their social skills, learning the basic essentials for everyday living as well as their fine motor. Each Month is dedicated to a specific theme that the kids enjoy learning about through, trips, special events, and from one another especially because there is so much diversity so everyone is learning from each other on a daily basis. The children also learn sign language as another way to communicate. I can go on and on about how AWESOME and THANKFUL I am for letting my guard down and trusting that Lilly’s Learning Pad was the right choice for my family and I. My kids look forward to attending every day

OMG!!! I love Lilly's Learning Pad. It is a daycare center with a nice home feel. I was searching for a center for my daughter. I met Brittany, and her personality was so open and loving. I felt comfortable leaving my daughter in her hands. She was immediately a part of The Pad, home away from home. My daughter loved it! She is located right in the heart of Cary Town, which made it very convenient to make it to all of my locations. Though my daughter has now out grown the Lily Pad. We have not outgrown the relationships built there. She spent her summer full of fun and learning. I would recommend this daycare to anyone.

I love Mrs. Brittany and her husband center. When my daughter first met her she automatically opened up to her and started talking to her. My daughter is 2 and she does not talk to strangers at all. She will help in any way that she can. The kids love it also and that is my main concern. All 3 of mine go here.
